Scene 5 Temples and Eastern Buildings Eastern houses tend to be box-like with few or no windows. They are similar in fact to those of Mexicans and Pueblo Indians and thus can have a double purpose. A door a trapdoor on the flat roof and opposing rows of protruding roof beams and that is it. For temples use the simplified floor plans of actual temples of the smaller types. I tend to use wooden dowling for pillars but it is possible to purchase more accurate and ornate pillars from model kit makers. (Greek and Egyptian in particular.) Internally my temples are empty with, altars, candelabra, offertory chest and a statue of the relevant deity variable. |
