Binky and the Hyena Trail (Part 2)

At the Water Hole

Introduction

Binky and his party have travelled for three days, resting only a few hours in the darkest hours of the night and again in the heat of the midday sun.  Despite this they are closing only a little on the Arab Slavers.  Binky is marching a couple of miles south of the Hyena Trail to reduce the risk from poisoned wells or traps along the way.  Every now and then the hunters scout as far as the trail to ensure that the Arabs are still travelling along that way.  They have reported one dead slave yesterday and a couple more dead bodies this morning.  The pace is obviously having an effect - but on the slaves not the Arabs!
